Our commitment to ethical sourcing and local produce is at the heart of our approach. We work closely with both regional and national suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality, sustainable ingredients. By prioritising seasonal, fresh, and responsibly sourced food, we not only enhance the quality of our offerings but also support local communities.

We believe in transparency and actively communicate the provenance of our ingredients to our customers. Our suppliers are more than partners – they are an integral part of our business.

Social Impact

We are committed to making a positive impact beyond the food we serve. By partnering with social enterprises and supporting community initiatives, we aim to create lasting social value.

Each Lexington team member receives two paid volunteering days per year to contribute to good causes. Through our Lifetime of Enrichment campaign, we are on track to deliver 28,835 days – the average lifetime – of social value by 2025 through volunteering, apprenticeships, fundraising, and partnerships.

Food Made Good Standard – Sustainable Restaurant Association

The Food Made Good standard is the most globally recognised industry standard for measuring sustainability. We have achieved the highest 3-star rating for a 5th consecutive year in 2023.  In 2023, we were also honoured to be featured in a case study carried out by the Food Made Good standard on the topic of ‘Treating Staff Fairly’ within the industry. This highlights our people-first ethos and how it translates into a thriving business.
