As a Head Storeman you will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team.
Main Duties:
1. To receive, check & store all catering deliveries on site for all floors
2. To check invoices & delivery notes that we have received correct items or to report any anomalies to line manager
3. To deliver food items to all floors when needed
4. To undertake all deliveries enduring they are stored as per company polices
5. To undertake any additional task as directed by the line manager
6. To ensure that all casuals working under your supervision follow the standards expected by Elior / Lexington
7. To ensure accurate weekly stock take is carried out and completed in the correct time scale.
8. Ensure cleaning schedules are strictly adhered to and signed as and where required.
9. To ensure the accurate recording of all temperature requirements are documented correctly, raising any concerns immediately
10. To liaise with line manager about food items needed for service front and back of house in the morning and before you shift finishes
11. Report any problems that occur with regards to Health & Safety, temperatures, cleanliness and other general issues to the correct departments, bringing to the Head Chef’s attention
12. To ensure that complaints are handled quickly and efficiently and brought to the attention of the management at the earliest opportunity.
13. To report any malfunctions of equipment to the persons responsible.
14. To take a proactive and professional approach to the business as a whole and to actively promote Elior / Lexington to our customers and clients
15. To adhere to all company policies and procedures
16. To carry out any other reasonable request made by a member of management
17. Ensure that you and the kitchen team maintain high standards of appearance and personal hygiene, keeping uniform in good repair
18. Report and take necessary action for any incident of injury, fire, theft, loss, damage and unfit food to management.
18. Ensure that the email and telephone use policy is fully adhered to at all times
19. To compete any company bookwork to the highest level of accuracy
20. To liaise with all clients and customers in a courteous and professional manner at all times
21. To ensure all food items are labelled and decanted in accordance with company policy.
