Celebrating Success as part of the City of Westminster College Supported Internship Programme

We are incredibly proud to support the City of Westminster College supported internship programme again in 2025. Our involvement in this programme provides meaningful opportunities for young adults with learning disabilities to gain valuable experience within our business.

What is a supported internship?

The City of Westminster College supported internship programme is a full time education programme (based 5 days a week in the workplace) for young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Interns have the opportunity to complete three different work rotations with the support of an expert job coach. Alongside work placements, interns study English, Maths and Entry 3/Level 1 employability qualifications one day a week in the on-site classroom at Westminster City Hall, Victoria.

Our involvement in the supported internship programme

So far this year, we have facilitated three work placements – two led by our fantastic UK Account Manager and Mental Health First Aider, Paul Dancer,  and one at another of our central London locations. We’ve also run mock interview sessions with our HR team, supporting 11 interns in developing their skills and confidence in interviews.

Most importantly, we’re thrilled to share that two of our interns, Aymene and Amara, have secured part-time roles with us as of February 2025.

Paul Dancer, who played a key role in establishing the programme within Lexington, shared his thoughts: “It’s incredibly rewarding to help someone gain the skills and coaching they need to start their career. It’s a cause close to my heart, as many of us know someone with visible or hidden disabilities.”

A huge thank you to our brilliant teams, interns and City of Westminster College. Our partnership continues to grow, and we can’t wait to see more success stories in the future!
