The Health and Vitality Honours List recognises those practicing the best healthy eating values within foodservice. The winners of Health & Vitality Honours 2017 will be announced at a presentation lunch, on Thursday 26th January 2017.
Lexington’s chef development team have been driving healthy food concepts following the launch of our multi award-winning Let’s Energise range in 2011 – with the aim to show healthy food can be tasty. Since then we have introduced our award-winning Vitalicious Juice range and over the last year our development team has launched a number of new healthy food concepts, including Grains&Greens, which was developed specifically for customers wanting a vegetarian and vegan option.
The Grains&Greens range brings a unique approach to menu development. Built around wholefoods, the team has developed dishes that support customers in maintaining optimal health, the menu is eclectic with combinations like mint, pistachio & courgette polpet to poppy & sesame crusted halloumi with steamed rice. This holistic food concept focuses on food for a healthier future and introduces new ingredients customers may not have tried before.
