Lexington has launched new ‘Free From’ breakfast recipes into their Grains&Greens range and introduced new healthy grab-and-go hot options for customers.
Rob Kirby, Chef Director at Lexington Catering says, “Our new breakfast range has been introduced to offer customers more selection and to help them achieve their health goals. We have a range of healthy hot and cold breakfasts, which are made with ingredients like whole buckwheat, nuts, fruits, flaxseeds, oats, honey and other natural ingredients.
“Busy lifestyles mean more of us eat on the go – we have worked hard to create a healthy but tasty breakfast offer that our customers can enjoy and we believe will help kick-start their day.”
Recipes include pancakes made with oats and flaxseeds, breakfast wraps and Moroccan breakfast flatbread. Many sites will be updating their existing porridge stations and customers will get to taste some exciting new recipes, from smokey savoury porridge with grilled streaky bacon to a black quinoa porridge with grilled pineapple, and a porridge made with buckwheat.
The team have also introduced a range of grab-and-go breakfast hot pots. These cover a broad range of flavours and styles from nasi goring and poached chicken to a buttermilk waffle with low fat Greek yoghurt pot.
