- A unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work in a fast paced high quality food environment covering all aspects of catering to include staff restaurant, 1 x coffee bar & hospitality
- Able to provide the highest possible standards of innovative food complete with fresh trendy ideas
- Achieve & maintain GP as specified by the catering budgets through effective financial management, menu costing, stock control, purchasing, menu planning & controlling production/wastage
- Responsible for a team of 3 other kitchen staff and have the ability to monitor performance, ensure training, personal development plans & performance management occurs for continuous proactive progression
- Maintain effective health & safety, hygiene & food safety records/procedures and compliance with applicable laws
Personal Spec
- Experienced Head chef with a passion for high quality good delivery & “getting it right” all of the time
- GP literate & financially able
- Clear understanding of the quality and dedication needed to produce food of the highest level
- A natural leader with the ability to implement a structure around the team so as to provide an effective and well managed operation
- Ability to build rapport and communicate well with customers & clients is a must
- The ability to motivate & drive the best from your team by leading by example is essential
- Highly organised, motivated & strong time management essential
