Job description
Your key responsibilities as Deputy General Manager are to support the General Manager in the running of the site, develop the team and the offer to the client.
- Manage food safety, health and safety, financial book work, payroll and HR.
- Ensure the smooth running of hospitality and events
- Prepare quotes and event plans.
- Ensure the restaurant is ready for service and running smoothly. We serve breakfast and lunch in the restaurant.
- Build a strong relationship with the client
Skills & Experience
The experience and knowledge we are looking for from a Deputy General Manager include:
- Industry experience in a multi-department management role
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage, develop and build a team
- A strategic decision maker
- A self-starter with a passion for food and beverage excellence
- Financial acumen and computer literacy is essential
- Experience in financial analysis and report writing
