We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Hospitality Manager for one of our leading, high profile and very busy site in the City of London. The operation comprises 5 fine dining rooms, 42 meeting rooms, Training Room Suites, Events Spaces and a Partners’ Dining Room.
The successful candidate will be given full training and a detailed handover.
The role will be supported by two Supervisors and the Hospitality Manager.
The ideal candidate must have:
A well rounded catering, front of house and customer focused background.
Leading a team of up to 14 staff members including two supervisors
Ability to manage fine dining events for up to 120 guests.
Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
Ability to manage more than one event at the same and delegating staff.
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to plan ahead
Demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving
Ability to work on own initiative
Excellent communicator at all levels
Excellent leadership and influencing skills
Organised, flexible and motivated
Work well to tight deadlines and under pressure
A fresh and exciting approach to food presentation
Food orientated with good attention to detail
Flexible to work evening functions
Positive can do attitude
Previous experience in working within contract catering or 5* hotels in their banqueting and events division.
Experience as an Assistant Hospitality Manager or a Hospitality Manager at a smaller site is an advantage.
