What’s in season in February?

Wahoo February is here and the January is well and truly behind us for yet another year! 

We had a fabulously healthy start to January celebrating ‘Veganuary,’ which is a campaign that has been created to help everyone to try vegan. We spent the month highlighting some of the beautiful vegan dishes across our restaurants. From tasty Vegan Lentil and Tomato Burgers and Spicy Tempeh Miso Soba Bowls to Churros with Almond Milk Chocolate Sauce, there is something for everyone.

January finished on high as our trailblazing Grains&Greens range picked up its second award in just six months, at the Health and Vitality Awards. The Healthy Hospitality Honour recognises our commitment to helping customers achieve good health and wellbeing – it’s such brilliant result and perfect healthy start to 2017!

But the healthy food doesn’t stop here. It’s all about vegetables this month, with all of your root vegetables still headlining from potatoes to turnips and carrots.

All varieties of cabbage should be at their very best at the moment, forced Yorkshire rhubarb is looking prime and if you really have to fly something club class then let it be beautiful Italian blood oranges – simply serve them in caramel with a dollop of Mascarpone Cheese and warm cookies. It’s so simple but so beautiful.
