On Friday 6th October, Global Radio held their annual Make Some Noise Campaign, currently in its third year, the campaign gives a voice to the brilliant small projects all over the country which help young people and their families living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity.
The Lexy team at Global joined forces with some of the head office team to support the cause, all with the aim of raising money for disadvantaged children and young people nationwide. The team organised and held activities throughout the day and raised £161.50, activities included pie throwing, apple bobbing, competitions and lots of donations from food sales.

Pie your bos
Global Managers stepped up to the mark and were prepared to get messy for the cause whilst their team members created and then threw the pies at their boss!
Apple bonanaza!
One of our suppliers very kindly sponsored two of our competitions, one was apple bobbing and the other was to guess ‘which name isn’t an apple. The prizes were beautiful chocolate apples and a fruit
basket.
We had an Instagram frame with props – visit Instagram to take a look at snaps throughout the day.
Food
What we do best! We donated £1 from every burger sold and donated money from the sales of our ‘sparkling brownies’.
