At the end of July we were delighted to hold the graduation drinks for our inaugural Aspiring Leadership Programme. The graduation took place in Knight Frank, where we celebrated the achievements of our Aspiring Leaders with drinks, canapés and certificate presentations. We also announced our 2014/15 Project Winner, Kamila Ksiazek from Marlow, whose idea to introduce a ‘LexConnect’ app for our employees will be implemented within the business.
The Aspiring Leaders Programme is an interactive and innovative 12 month course designed to develop leadership skills the Lexy Way! Alongside 7 tailored sessions, intended to reflect and develop each of the Leadership DNA behaviours and dedicated mentoring from senior Managers within the business, the delegates also completed two written assignments to achieve a qualification from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), the UK’s largest management body, which is well respected and highly regarded across all industries.
The programme aligns with two of our Lexy core values to nurture great talent and enjoy what we do and have fun!
Our 2014/15 team of seven Aspiring Leaders (Emma Rogers, Denise West, Daniel Victorio, Stephen Penn, Tony O’Brien, Nuria Del Rio and Kamila Ksiazek) were selected from an array of dedicated Managers and Head Chefs across the business. Standards are extremely high across the board but participants were selected based on high performance and high potential ratings in their Talent Toolbox appraisals. The cohort is therefore comprised of our ‘Lexington Future Leaders’.
The Aspiring Leaders Programme aims to reward and develop our highest performing Managers and Head Chefs by investing in their futures, alongside the future of Lexington. We now look forward to welcoming our 2015/16 intake, who’ll be mentored by those who’ve just graduated.
