The dark evenings are drawing in and there is a definite nip in the air which must mean one thing – it’s almost silly season!
But before we get to Christmas let’s enjoy what November brings. It’s the time of the year to put the Sunday roast back into your weekly routine and get the family around the table… loving, squabbling and chatting over roasted British meats, Yorkies (compulsory with every roast in my mind!) and all those wonderful veggies that are at their best right now.
This month finds our Lexy chefs competing at our annual LexChef competition as they battle it out to be crowned Lexington’s Chef of the Year 2014! The semi-finals are well underway and the level of cooking is raising the bar yet again! I can’t quite believe that this is the 8th year – where has the time gone?! It’s going to be an incredible final at what we’re sure will be the best LexChef competition yet & we’ve got an incredible line-up of top industry chefs to judge our finest!
Our Food and Service Forum teams are busy putting together an evening of exciting and tasty Christmas ideas and innovations for our onsite teams to get some seasonal and festive ideas from – watch out for them in our Lexy sites!
Wrap up warm and enjoy the stunning autumnal colours of another fantastic British autumn.
