Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and a fabulous New Year with lots of eating, drinking and partying.
And now it’s back to grown up and sensible January with lots of healthy eating and New Year’s resolutions. I can practically hear the gym locker padlocks popping off around London!
Here at Lexington we’re ready to get stuck into 2017 and support our customers and clients with their healthy eating and lifestyle goals. We have new Vitalicious lifestyle juices to help you through the coming months and our award winning Grains&Greens range has been updated with some vegan twists as we support the nationwide Veganuary campaign this month.
For those seeking comfort and solace from the cold evenings and short days don’t forget those seasonal warming stews and one pot roasts. Pack them full with big root veggies, not only are they packed full of vitamins and nutrients that we crave after the gluttony of the festive season but they’re at their very best at this time of year and are super tasty.
If you fancy a rich, hearty and winter warming supper try my recipe for a classic coq au vin, perfect for a winter’s night cuddled up with cheesy mash or crusty warm bread.
Keep warm and hope you have a soaring start to 2017 and that the year ahead brings health, happiness and of course, scrummy food!
Eat, sleep, love.
